053 - Our Precious Sundate

By Melody Tan - 5/27/2014 10:57:00 PM

Woody and I finally had some time for a proper date. He took the effort to plan out everything the night before, so props to him and his planning skills! To be honest, I tend to guess correctly the places he is bringing me to and the things we are going to eat, etc. However, I was completely NOT in the know about his plans this time round and kept giving wrong guesses... Too many surprises in a day! :)

First stop was Creamier at Toa Payoh! Whoa, we totally didn't expect the place to be this small and crowded. It was around 4pm by the time we reached there. We were really lucky to be able to get a small 2-seater corner for us.

Yummy yummy ice cream! We ordered waffles with Sea Salt Gula Melaka and Earl Grey Lavender to share.

Waiting is always the hardest part....

We ordered a pot of jasmine green tea too because W was having slight flu. Random but 18 has been one of my favorite numbers!

Huge scoops of ice cream, a plus point! Crisp sides of waffles, second plus point! ICE CREAM DAMN NICE, SMOOTH AND CREAMY. Plus point x 3!!! I recommend earl grey lavender so much because it's so light and goodddd.

Instagram worthy, plus point x 12345789!!! :D

Happy us in a cramped up area but awesome ice cream! The crowd was really constant, but I still think that Stateland has the best waffles (for now) ;)

Casual #ootd for the day because W kept telling me we are going to run later. Okayyyyy.

Since we were in the area plus we were still hungry, we decided to go check out the famous rojak at the food court at Toa Payoh Bus Interchange! We actually queued 45 minutes for it, being the foodies that we are.

This is $4 worth of rojak, the shop is Soon Heng Silver Stream Rojak, the first shop you see when you go down the escalator to the food court. Does anyone else like turnips? Cos I luv 'em ^^ Giving this rojak two thumbs up, the sauce is finger licking good!

Next up, we drove all the way to Tanjong Katong! I couldn't guess where he was bringing me to and I was really surprised when I saw us turning into AMPED Trampoline Park! For $15 per hour, you'll get access to jump jump jump your life away at the park. W mentioned he regretted not booking the one at Jurong instead because there is no air con at the Katong one!

They actually conduct classes to teach people how to jump.

There were crew members on the floor, going around trying to help and give tips to the public. I think they're really friendly and taught useful tips on how to jump safely.

Here's us halfway through the hour, tired and sweaty from all that jumping. Hahaha! And please be careful when jumping, I almost broke my neck for real. No joke.

A photo of us when all was over. When the person came to tell us our hour was up, I have this feeling both of us were secretly relieved. LOL.

Next stop was actually Sentosa. Whaaaaat? Totally not expecting this because the smart aleck in me kept guessing we were going to Vivocity to catch a movie.

Our simple dinner was soya chicken rice and butter chicken briyani from 7-11. We've always wanted to do this again after the very very first time a year ago. Vanilla coke is back too!

Saw these pretty lights while walking towards Siloso Beach...

He brought a mat so we could lie down and watch the stars. There were really a lot of stars that night.

Thank you for everything.
Everything does not simply include just this date but every single thing done since the very first time.
Every save, every chance, every opportunity.
Every step, every stop, every ounce of your unconditional love.

We know it best.
Thank you ♥
