DAY 4

Good morning from Shinjuku!

We took a train down to Harajuku because we wanted to visit some attractions around the area today.

Saw some pretty tulips near the entrance of Yoyogi Park!

Greeted by this sight, soooo many cherry blossoms!!!!

It looked like a freaking dream everywhere in Yoyogi Park. Everyone was just chilling, talking, laughing, taking strolls and basically taking life slow under the cherry blossom trees.

We bought some breakfast earlier on from Doutor Coffee at Harajuku, and this mochi was from last night's fair at Meguro. The tuna sandwich from Doutor was yummy~

Picnic time~!

Doutor Coffee ambassador, maybe?

Weather was perfect...

Scenery was perfect...

Everything was perfect ♥

The most epic meal we saw the locals having was onsite portable BBQ!!! And they were dressed gothic-style, so it made the entire situation a tad eye-opening.

So happy to finally mark this off my to-do list for springtime in Japan!

Today's #OOTD. Actually I kinda underestimate the weather this time, soaking up all the sunshine while I can.

Next up, Meiji Shrine!

Thanks for accompanying me, I know you have 0% interest in such places, lol.

Before entering the shrine area, wash both hands and rinse your mouth.

Always like to get some fortune messages from shrines and temples, just for the fun of it.

I think our fortunes weren't too bad...

Next up, let's write down some wishes at Meiji Shrine!

Done~! ♥

Next up, it was crepe land at Takeshita Street!

Strawberry cheesecake crepe~

Have you really been to Takeshita Street if you haven't had a crepe there before???

We walked around the alleys after, shopping around till night time.

Had to have my favourite Gindaco Takoyaki!!!!! Singapore outlets, why you closeeeee :((

YUMS!!!!! How can a mass-cooked takoyaki look so perfect???

Ended off the night with our daily purikura, hehehe. In case you're wondering where my pink sweater went, I had to buy a Reebok sweater just to wear it on top of the pink one because it was so damn coldddd!

DAY 5

Breakfast was a matcha mochi donut from Mister Donut x misdo near our hotel at the junction of Shinjuku.

Today's agenda - Tokyo Disneyland. As you can see from the above, we really chose the wrong day to pay a visit to the "happiest place on earth".

Rain = cold = LAYER ON.

We reached Tokyo Disneyland at 1pm, lol. Each time we visit a Disneyland it gets later and later. Maybe it's just us getting older and older.

It was Easter time at Disneyland! And too bad we were too late to join in the queue for a photo with Mickey Mouse just near the entrance.

Managed to catch some characters during their meet and greet session along the main entrance. Here's Pluto being....goofy.

Oh, just switch names with Goofy already.

Heck, this fairy Godmother looks dam creepy!!!! But she was the only character we could grab a photo with. Did anyone get reminded of the masked murderer in the Happy Death Day movie???

Sobs, the happiest place on Earth indeed...

Brought my popcorn bucket from our previous trip to Tokyo Disneysea here just to refill it with a new fresh batch of popcorn!!

Warm, fresh honey popcorn is obviously my remedy.

Best seller of the day - Disneyland raincoats (we were so tempted).

Each photograph takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still ♥️

Taking a photo with Mickey Mouse is always our priority at Disneyland!!!

The only good thing about going to theme parks during rainy weather is the short and fast queue :)

We settled down in a nearby diner because it was raining and the weather was legit cold and so gloomy...

Instagram VS

REALITY!!!

Honestly so gloomy this looks like a scene whereby victims of a hurricane are hiding in a shelter.

Sigh~

Next up, Peter Pan's Flight!

So pretty ♡_♡

Then I saw the cutest thing ever - this Japanese baby in his Donald Duck suit o m g.

Omg baby why you so cute?!?!??!?!?!?!?!!!!!!! Look at him lookin' all fluffy and warm.

Next ride: Snow White's Adventures!

Kiddy ride...

And....we had a late lunch at the Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant. I always try to avoid eating inside the theme parks because the food's usually overpriced and not nice.. but we were really quite hungry today.

The tray's so cute!

This meal probably costed us near SGD$50?

Always happy when there's food!

Let's tuck in!

Thanks for the meal~♡

This is the second Disneyland after the first Hong Kong Disneyland that we visited together. We didn't get to see the finale castle light show and fireworks for both trips due to the weather. Hopefully third time's the charm?

A Mickey-shaped churro to cheer us up~

Shake hands with Uncle Sam and he'll tell you your personality based on the strength of your handshake O_O

Socialite? Defo inaccurate!

This shot caused our camera's lens to get a dent as it hit the floor......but oh well. Bye bye gloomy, rainy Tokyo Disneyland!!

Headed back towards our hotel and bought these interesting looking egg puddings.

Then it was a late dinner at Matsuya before we end the night on a full tummy! ^^
