6AM flight, wtf. Amazing how we survived with 2 hours worth of sleep, and rushing out our final itinerary before that. I think Woody didn't get any sleep though.

After we've touched down about 4 hours plus later. Jetstar is still the best budget airline after all. Tiger Airways can pretty much go suck balls, their flights always wanna make me puke.
We took a bus from the airport to Tung Chung for Citygate Outlet Mall! The other way of public transport was taking the Airport Express, but it costs SGD$20 to go somewhere just a stone's throw away from our origin. Am glad we managed to take the bus there in the end, cheap and safe! The ride was simply 10 minutes.

We've arrived!! The bus stops at the terminal, and this mall is located right next to the terminal. Easy peasy!
After a morning flight, the first thing we do in Hong Kong is to fill up our tummies. What did we settle for?
WATAMI! I know it's available in SG and all, we've both been wanting to dine at WATAMI for some time now. So...since it is cheaper in HK, why not? ;)

Glorious, glorious bibimbap!!! Ever since I introduced Woody to this dish, he has been craving for this non-stop and so have I! WATAMI has some awesome bibimbap, I tell you. You need to order one that is served in a hot stone pot because....it makes it all better! It's even more heavenly when the rice below gets slightly charred and crispy.
After lunch, we went to shop around the outlet mall and to our disappointment, there was NOTHING to buy. I was expecting to grab some stuff from at least Kate Spade maybe? But none... Woody was very disappointed with the I.T outlet and others as well. We swore to skip this mall the next time we're back. Left after 2 hours in the mall, headed towards Hong Kong Island for our hotel!
We took the MTR to Wan Chai station, and Hong Kong stations tend to have stairs instead of escalators, I'm not sure why. See how the poor boy had to help me carry my luggage up the stairs.... Thank you!!
After buying herbal tea at Hui Liu Shan at Lockhart Road and dragging our luggage on the rocky roads, we managed to reach our hotel... Woody wanted to cab to the hotel from the MTR station but I insisted on walking there because it seems quite near on the map. In the end, it really is near! There's a direct link way to our hotel from the MTR station. We exited from the wrong exit at Wan Chai Station....oops.

We had a nap right after packing our stuff because we were soooo tired from the morning flight. Woke up in the evening around 6PM, washed up and got changed for the night!

The reason why we're all dressed up is because we thought we were gonna head to Ritz Carlton HK for some drinks at night. But....it didn't come true, hahaha.

We headed to Causeway Bay! Drinking ShareTea taro milk tea here, they only have one size and it's large! Plus it's cheaper, about just SGD$2.

We went roaming around the area and shopping malls, wrote this on a random sticky note and pasted it on a random wall inside a random shop. The shops close pretty late, SOGO closed only at 12AM and was filled to the brim with people because of all the awesome deals during their Thankful Week, mainly people from China.
Itamae Sushi for late dinner! After 10:30PM, all the sushi shops will have 50% off their menu! This was one of it, and Hong Kong is rampant with Japanese restaurants. Oh yum, imagine the delight of having 50% off sushi! Too bad they don't use this marketing tactic in SG. The thing about restaurants in HK is that most of them have a minimum spending amount that you'd have to hit individually. I don't really like it..

There is a hugeeeeeeeeee Forever 21 at CWB. It boasts 6 levels. 5 levels are girl stuff, hahaha. And it closes at 1AM! Super awesome for the late night shoppers.

Day 2
The next day, we decided to go to Capital Cafe for brunch. It looked pretty far from our hotel on the map, so we decided to take a cab. When we told the cab driver our address, he became moody and kept grumbling. Not sure why... In the end it turns out that the place he left us at was just a 5 min walk away from our hotel... No wonder he was so angry. But the thing is, the cafe is not situated there. We had to walk a good 8 to 10 mins from there to our destination. I guess it is always better to rely on yourself than others.
We had a really hard time finding the cafe itself, mainly because it was blocked by a huge truck! Didn't help that the weather was crazy hot that day.

We wanted to go to Horizon Plaza, and took a bus from the terminal at Admiralty to this bus stop. Woody is constantly busy with his phone :(
The free shuttle bus that brings us to our destination, thank goodness we had help from this HK lady. If not, we wouldn't know which bus to take. They all look the same O_O
Yay, we've reached and were at JOYCE outlet. Horizon Plaza comprises of mostly outlet stores of several brands. Some to look out for are JOYCE and I.T.
Rows and rows of branded clothing and goods. Search hard and you may score yourself a piece at a huge discounted price in your size! For me? Nah....
To our disappointment again, there was nothing much to buy. Maybe there were, but prolly still not within our budget. I don't really like coming to Horizon Plaza, it really is quite out of the way and the building is kinda old. The lift is REALLY SMALL and there are too many levels.
#ootd at Ap Lei Chau Estate! After that, we walked to SPACE at Marina Square. It was quite a long way and the sun was scorching. I'm glad we made it to the destination despite much construction and hoarding going on. Managed to score a few buys there, and I was relieved we didn't make a wasted trip all the way here... Took a bus from the terminal and back to the city.

Settled for dinner at Yung Kee Restaurant. I'm finally here! Been dying to try this, famous for its roasted goose!

Gosh, I am really feeling hungry now...
Goodness gracious roasted goose, gleaming in the light. It's soooo good. But really oily. You need to try this when you're in HK!!! I recommend it, eat it at least once. I would go back for the roasted goose if I only I had the luxury of time. It was my first time eating goose meat, it is just like duck meat just that it is slightly more tender.

Yung Kee's expensive yet worth it dinner was quite memorable! I wanna go back and eat it now....
